Grand Opening and 25th anniversary in Lebanon

Wilo recently celebrated the inauguration of its new offices in Beirut, Lebanon on October 18, 2022, in the presence of H.E. Andreas Kindl, German Ambassador to Lebanon, representatives from Ministry of Energy and Water, Council of Development and reconstruction and top consultants, contractors and Wilo partners from Levant region. Established in 1996, Wilo Lebanon manages the company's operations in the Levant region, supporting Jordan, Syria and Palestine. Yasser Nagi, Group Director MENA & Managing Director UAE & Egypt, and Fouad Ahmed, Regional Marketing Manager MENA, were also present during the opening ceremony.
With an aim to further expand operations in the Levant region and meet the increasing demand for water technologies, Wilo opened the new facility that sprawled over 800 square meter complex with an office space, test bed for pumps, a fully-digitalised showroom, and a training academy, all under one roof to ensure seamless operations, in order to support its partners, consultants, contractors and university students.
Ayman Nassar, Managing Director of Wilo Levant, said: “We share a long-standing history of trust and partnership with Lebanon, as it is the Near East economic hub which has a prominent economic position in the region. We celebrate our 25th anniversary in Lebanon this year along with our 150th anniversary in the world. This move marks a significant milestone for Wilo, and we expect continued and strong relationships with Lebanon. We will also share expertise on mitigating challenges prevalent in the industry and further explore various avenues to address the water shortages in Lebanon. ”
According to Yasser Nagi, Group Director MENA & Managing Director UAE & Egypt, “Our new offices will reinforce Wilo Levant’s position as a regional solutions provider that supports neighbouring nations. With our new facility, we aim at bolstering our development in various market segments such as building services, water management and industry.”
