WILO SE and Borussia Dortmund are moving even more closely together thanks to the joint Champion Partnership. The Champion Partnership is more than just a financial stake for both sides, based on a sponsorship agreement. For Wilo it is also about sustainable talent development and the recruitment of skilled workers.
Wilo is implementing a new communication concept together with Borussia Dortmund. This can be seen on banners on bvb.de, advertisements in the stadium magazine, perimeter advertising in the stadium and the specially designed web presence www.wilovebvb.de.
The campaign expresses the special relationship of Wilo with Borussia Dortmund in a visually surprising and impressive form. The shared passion and solidarity with the region is staged in various creative campaigns – such as a special dress code, in which the Wilo employees express their attachment to the club by wearing the jersey of their home club under their work clothes.
The mutual solidarity of club and company is visible as some Borussia Dortmund players have in turn worn Wilo work clothes under their jerseys.
The Wilo rules of play generator
A fresh new concept was also designed and implemented for the appropriate web presence of the campaign www.wilovebvb.de. On the portal, fans of Wilo and Borussia Dortmund have the opportunity to win two pairs of two tickets each matchday for a Borussia Dortmund home game.
You get the chance to win this attractive prize by creating a “Dortmund rules of play” using the specially developed generator. The rule created is then put on display in a gallery and the rule with the most likes wins. In addition, the winners of the respective match days may be displayed.
There you will find very amusing and creative rules in the local dialect (“Ruhrpottdeutsch”) such as: “Et wird gespielt wat auf den Platz kommt” or “Egal wode wechkommst, Hauptsache Borusse”. Regional taunts such as “Schönstes Fest mit 09 Buchstaben? Derbysieg” can be found there as well.
