Leading manufacturer of water pumps and pump systems, Wilo UK, has announced a new add-on product, the ‘Wilo-Connect-Module Yonos MAXO’, which allows for additional features on the existing Wilo-Yonos MAXO pump range, enabling greater energy saving capabilities.

Wilo UK, part of the Wilo Group, is a leading premium provider of pumps and pump systems for building services, water management and industry, using smart solutions that bring together people, products and services.

On June 1st, Wilo UK will launch the ‘Wilo-Connect-Module Yonos MAXO’ as an add-on to the existing Wilo-Yonos MAXO range. The high-efficiency, electronically controlled pumps are used widely in hot-water heating systems, air-conditioning systems, closed cooling circuits and industrial circulation systems.

Developed with customer feedback in mind, the highly anticipated module gives users greater flexibility by enhancing the functionality of the Wilo-Yonos MAXO. It will also allow for integration into building management systems (BMS) with volt free contacts, fault/alarm signal, enable signal, run signal and dual pump management/integral changeover control for smooth operation when no BMS is on site.

Dual pump management gives auto changeover of twin head pumps on a time or failure basis where no BMS is on site, this means there is no need for a manual changeover by an operative.

The Wilo-Yonos MAXO already has multiple variable speed setpoints that give the pump a far greater level of control, thus more energy saving when fitting into a new or existing systems. In some cases the pump can have a payback time of less than a year, making it an incredibly energy efficient and economical solution.

Providing a competitive option to the market, when combined with the Connect Module, the Wilo-Yonos MAXO offers up to 32 variable speed setpoints and multiple alarm warning codes that can help indicate if there is a system issue or pump issue, error codes and alarms can even indicate if there is dirt in the systems or if the pumps is running dry - eliminating any potential failure. The pump is also physically much smaller than a lot of competitors modern products, which makes it much easier to fit when replacing older fixed speed pumps.

David Williamson, Director of Wilo UK, comments: “We work closely with customers and suppliers and their feedback is incredibly important to us, which is why we are developing products with this in mind.

“The Connect-Module Yonos MAXO will allow for new enhanced capability and overall benefits of the Wilo-Yonos MAXO range. It is a great addition to our product selection and will create more functionality for existing building control strategies.”

The Wilo-Connect-Module Yonos MAXO will be available from June 1st, for more information please contact our sales team on sales.uk@wilo.com, T: 01283 523 000 or contact your local Area Sales Manager.
