The differential pressure sensor (DDG) converts a hydrostatic differential pressure, generated for example by a pump in a pipe, into an electrical signal. This signal can be analysed by a control unit, e.g. a Wilo control device, in order to monitor the system requirements and adjust them using the pump.
The differential pressure sensor is connected to the pressure measurement sites by copper pipes of Ød = 6 mm. The connections are configured as cutting ring unions.
The sensor can be mounted using the fixing elements provided.
Maximum operating voltage: 15 – 30 V DC
Rated voltage: 24 V DC
Current output: 4 – 20 mA
Protection class: IP55
Pressure measurement range:
DDG 10: 0 to 1.0 bar
DDG 20: 0 to 2.0 bar
DDG 40: 0 to 4.0 bar
DDG 60: 0 to 6.0 bar
DDG 100: 0 to 10.0 bar
- Fluid temperature: -20 °C to +80 °C
- Ambient temperature: 0 °C to +70 °C
- Storage temperature: -30 °C to +80 °C
- Overpressure, static: 21 bar
- Overpressure, dynamic: 2.5 x pmax
Pressure peaks above this must be avoided mechanically.
Fields of application
Suitable for all common types of fluids such as heating water, water with viscous component, cooling water or cold water.
This sensor is not suitable for fluids containing oil.
