Having your own domestic water supply in addition to the public supply makes you a little more independent as a homeowner, lowers your water costs and is also a valuable contribution to the environment. Water that you pump yourself or store as rainwater can ideally be used for cleaning your outdoor areas or watering your garden. Choose one of our self-priming pumps for this. Utilities companies generally ensure there’s sufficient pressure in the water supply up to the connection with the house. Normally, the water can be evenly distributed in the house and garden without any problems and used at any extraction point without loss in pressure.
A problem only arises if the water pressure cannot be maintained because, for instance, the extraction points are located above or directly below the water storage tank. This may be the case in residential areas that have developed over time, or in attic conversions.
