SiClean 3

Compact particle separator system, supplied as a kit, easy to install. The kit consists of mechanical and hydraulic components: Circulator, separator (including magnets), drain valve, automatic balancing valve, venting unit, switchbox for monitoring the circulator. For wall fixation or floor installation (depending on type). Suction connections and discharge ports as well as mains connection are provided by the customer. Manual draining of the system.

Wilo-SiClean removes magnetic and non-magnetic particles, sludge and micro bubbles from heating systems via natural, physical phenomena. For installation in commercial buildings (administration buildings, hotels, hospitals, shopping centres, schools, etc.) and district heating applications.

Switchbox

Switchbox 1~230 V

Circulator

Electronically controlled high-efficiency glandless pump (Wilo-Yonos PICO or Wilo-Yonos MAXO, depending on the type of system). Low-maintenance glandless pump with synchronous motor according to ECM technology and built-in electronic power control for continuous differential pressure control.

Venting unit

Venting unit installed on the upper side of the system for venting the fluid consisting of:

• Automatic extractor with stop valve for continuous venting of the fluid
• Venting cap with stop valve for quickly venting the system during filling. If the system is filled with the fluid (water or water + glycol), free air in the pipes can escape through the vent cap. After the sludge chamber is vented initially, the stop valve must be opened again. To drain the sludge chamber, the stop valve must be opened again.

Adjustment valve

The adjustment valve controls the differential pressure and adjusts the cross-section of the opening to maintain the flow at the default value, regardless of the change in pressure in the system. The values specified below are the factory setting according to the selected and installed cartridge.

Hoses

EPDM hose with AISI 30 stainless steel braiding and brass fittings

The connections in the inlet and outlet are between ½" – 1¼"

Separator

Separator made of stainless steel with movable magnetic rods (1-12, depending on the type).

For SiClean types 0,5-2 with fixation material for wall fixation and for SiClean 3- with feet for floor installation. A flush valve is installed on the bottom of the separator for draining the sludge collection chamber.

SiClean 0,5-2 has two connections each for the inlet and outlet for flexibly setting the direction of flow within the separator. For SiClean 3-5, the system offers a double-sided outlet for easily selecting the outlet direction.
