Extremely high water demand occurs in the sanitary and catering areas over a tight timeslot of only four to five hours, with peak demand during half-time. Providing constant system pressure is particularly challenging especially during these fluctuations in demand – as is ensuring hygiene throughout the far-reaching drinking water networks.

Spectators have to put up with considerable inconvenience if the water supply in a stadium breaks down. The water supply can quickly reach its limits if, for example, all the toilets and sinks are used simultaneously during half-time. In cases like these, solutions that safeguard operation during peak-load times are required.
The Wilo-SiBoost Smart Helix EXCEL is the ideal solution: Thanks to the parameters preset in the factory, it can easily be operated using the “Expert” and “Easy” modes. The variable differential pressure can be adapted to the actual demand inside the stadium at short notice using the SCe control device. Safe operation and a long service life is ensured by high-quality components such as the efficient EC motor with IE5, a pressure-loss optimised overall system with efficient pump hydraulics, and the integrated dry run detection with automatic deactivation. Adjustments can be carried out as usual using Green Button Technology.
The system achieves the highest-possible control performance through the use of the SCe control device with LCD display. The Wilo-SiBoost Smart Helix EXCEL can be linked to the building management system using optional interfaces such as BACnet or Modbus. The Wilo-EMUport CORE solids separation system is a reliable long-term solution that can also handle the peak load during half-time. The dual-pump principle ensures that sewage intake via the second pump continues in parallel with the process of waste being pumped out of the system. As a result, the system prevents clogging in the long term and guarantees operational reliability and convenience. Thanks to the hygienic dry well installation outside the system, the Wilo-EMUport CORE is easily accessible and offers particularly easy maintenance.
Wilo offers an all-round carefree service package from planning right through to maintenance. As sanitary facilities in stadiums are only used on specific days and at specific times, continuous monitoring is important in detecting even the smallest indication of a fault. If fitted with the Wilo-Control SC-Lift FTS, the system can be monitored remotely by our Wilo Service department at all times.
