Compact pressure boosting system according to DIN 1988 and DIN EN 806, for direct or indirect connection. Consisting of non self-priming, switched in parallel, horizontally-mounted stainless steel high-pressure centrifugal pumps in a glanded version. Ready for connection with stainless steel pipework, mounted on a base frame, including control device with all necessary measurement and adjustment equipment.

For fully automatic water supply and pressure boosting in residential, commercial and public buildings, hotels, hospitals, department stores and for industrial systems.

For pumping drinking water, process water, cooling water, fire water (apart from fire-extinguishing systems in accordance with DIN 14462 and with the approval of the local fire safety authorities) or other types of industrial water that do not attack the materials either chemically or mechanically and do not contain abrasive or long-fibre constituents.

Control

  • Fully automatic control for 2-4 fixed speed pumps by means of setpoint/actual value comparison
  • 4-20mA sensor signal (with conductivity test) for control variable actual value
  • Automatic, load-sensitive cut-in of peak-load pump(s) depending on the pressure - constant, p-c control variable
  • Pressure surge optimised switch-off of the base-load pump thanks to freely settable 2nd Pressure level after enabling a time follow-up element (1-180 s.)
  • Automatic, configurable pump cycling with service life optimisation:
    • The base-load pump is cycled at each new demand after system shutdowns, regardless of operating hours
    • Pump cycling dependent on operating hours, cycling of the base-load pump after six operating hours
  • Operating mode of the pumps freely selectable (manual, off, automatic)
  • Automatic pump test run (pump kick):
    • Can be activated
    • Time between two pump test runs (approx. 10 sec. duration) is ten hours
  • Zero-flow cut-off over pressure and time
  • H-0-A (manual-zero-automatic) switch: Preselection of the operating mode for the pumps and manual operation in the event of a manual controller fault (emergency/test mode available at mains power, WSK (motor) protection available, time-dependent reset), 0 (pump switched off – cannot be switched on using the controller) and Auto (pump enabled for automatic mode via the controller), acknowledgement of error signals in position 0

Monitoring

  • Internal motor current monitoring with converter or
  • External motor protection via PTC thermistor sensor (PTC) or thermal winding contact (WSK)
  • Protection of the pump mains power feed via fuses (safety fuses)
  • Monitoring of maximum and minimum system values with adjustable time delays and limits
  • Protection against low water level via contact e.g. float switch or pressure switch
  • Optional protection against low water level via electrodes and level control relays
  • Automatic changeover to the standby pump in the event of a operating pump fault
  • Preselectable response in the event of a sensor fault
