The Reliance Jamnagar Integrated PV Manufacturing Facility is one of India’s largest and most advanced industrial developments in the solar manufacturing sector. As part of this project, Wilo supplied specialized pumping solutions for critical wastewater treatment applications, supporting environmental compliance and process efficiency.

This project was executed through Verantis Environmental Solutions, a Singapore-based global leader in environmental technologies, marking a strategic entry for Wilo into a new customer segment within the solar and wastewater treatment domain. The application required handling chemically aggressive fluids with precise material and design considerations.

Wilo’s pumping solution was engineered to handle chemically treated wastewater with varying compositions, including high concentrations of NaCl, NaOH, and silicates. The pumps are designed to ensure reliable recirculation within spray towers and scrubber systems, maintaining process stability and environmental compliance.

The system incorporates specialized materials, mechanical seals, and motor configurations to withstand corrosive and abrasive media. The pumps are optimized for continuous operation, ensuring efficient fluid handling while minimizing wear and maintenance requirements in demanding industrial conditions.
