Urmodi LIS Stage II Project

The Urmodi Lift Irrigation Scheme (LIS) Stage II builds upon Stage I by extending irrigation coverage using water lifted from the first stage. This phase ensures enhanced distribution of water across additional agricultural areas, further strengthening irrigation infrastructure in the region.

Wilo executed the complete electro-mechanical scope for Stage II, delivering a fully integrated pumping solution. The project involved precise coordination with existing infrastructure from Stage I, ensuring seamless water transfer and system continuity.

Wilo’s pumping solution in Stage II is designed to lift water received from Stage I and distribute it efficiently across the irrigation network. The vertical turbine pumps ensure stable performance and consistent water flow to downstream areas.

The system integrates piping, valves, switchgear, and control panels, ensuring synchronized operation and seamless connection with the upstream infrastructure. This enables efficient water transfer without losses or operational interruptions.

The project extends irrigation benefits to the same 1,228-hectare command area, ensuring reliable water availability across villages. Wilo’s solution enhances system efficiency, reduces operational challenges, and supports sustainable agricultural growth.
