FAQ
Can I use the pump for sewage coming from toilets?
No, this pump is limited to use in wastewater without faeces according to EN 12050-2.
Can I use the pump for waste water coming from a kitchen?
Yes, but the waste water must be pre-treated by a grease removal system.
What is the lowest water level that can be reached by using this pump?
Lowest would be the level of suction port but then air would enter in the hydraulic. Therefore the pump housing height is documented as the lowest water level.
Transportable version of the pump can be manually operated until air enters in hydraulic.
For fixed installation, a reduced sump can be installed under floor level, such as what is possible with our Wilo-Drainlift Box system.
I want to install two single phase pumps equipped with float switch: how can I use the float of each pump?
You have to de-activate the float switchgear by setting it with float in upward position and then use a control panel with recommended accessory(ies), or better, if still possible, select a pump without float switch.
