Wilo Pumps Nigeria Limited participated in the 2026 World Water Day celebration organized by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability, gender equality, and community impact.

This year’s theme, “Water and Gender: Where Water Flows, Equality Grows,” underscored the vital role water plays in empowering women and fostering inclusive development. The event began with a press briefing by the Honourable Minister of Water Resources, highlighting the importance of partnerships in addressing water access challenges across Nigeria.

The celebration continued with a community outreach in Lugbe, where Wilo Pumps Nigeria Limited contributed to the initiative by donating sanitary towels to 500 women. This effort aimed to support menstrual hygiene, promote dignity, and improve access to essential health resources for women.

At Wilo, we believe that improving access to water directly contributes to better health, education, and economic opportunities—particularly for women and girls. Our participation in World Water Day 2026 reflects our dedication to building inclusive communities where equality can thrive.

Wilo Pumps Nigeria Limited remains committed to delivering sustainable solutions that create lasting value and support the well-being of communities across Nigeria.
