Five stars in energy efficiency for the Sheraton Nanjing Kingsley Hotel

Over the course of comprehensive renovation and modernisation measures, the entire air-conditioning system of the 41-storey building was replaced and the energy-efficient standard pumps of the Wilo-Atmos GIGA-N series were installed. Their high overall efficiency ensures an energy-saving refrigeration circuit in trouble-free continuous operation at significantly reduced electricity costs.

“Compared to other energy-saving measures, switching to the Wilo standard pumps was the simplest and most effective one”, states Mr Lin, equipment supervisor of the hotel. “Moreover, the payback period is just two and a half years. This has clearly exceeded our expectations!”

In figures, this means 240,000 kWh of electricity savings per year and 22.8% less energy consumption than before the conversion. As a result, the five-star resort is now also in the top class when it comes to saving energy!
