Wilo East Africa opened its doors to members of the Water and Sanitation Providers Association (WASPA), welcoming utility leaders, engineers, and water management professionals to the regional Assembly & Academy hub for a day of collaboration and hands-on engagement.

The event brought the CONNECTING pillar of our sustainability strategy to life, positioning Wilo as a convener of sector dialogue and a catalyst for shared progress.

Anthony Njaramba, CEO of WASPA, opened the session with a call for deeper collaboration across the sector. Christine Amira, Marketing & Sustainability Manager, welcomed participants on behalf of Wilo East Africa, framing the day as an opportunity to move from conversation to action.

Belete A. Matebe, Managing Director Wilo East Africa, then made a presentation on Wilo's regional footprint, highlighting project references, our approach to WATER AI and smart system optimization, and the competitive advantage of local assembly and lifecycle support.
