Successful Borehole Installation at Zumuratul Islamiyyah School 2, Akute, Ogun State, Nigeria!

We are thrilled to share the successful completion of a borehole system at a community primary school in Akute, a project that has been a beacon of hope for both students and staff. For far too long, this school has faced the challenge of inadequate access to clean water, impacting proper hygiene practices and hindering students' ability to focus on their studies.

With over 200 students in the school, the absence of a reliable water source meant that students often spent precious time searching for water instead of engaging in their educational activities. This diversion not only disrupted their concentration but also posed a risk to their health and well-being.

Thanks to the WILO initiative of caring for lives as we move water in a sustainable way, we successfully installed a borehole system equipped with our highly efficient submersible borehole pump.

This project was brought to life through Wilo sponsorship and collaboration with various partners who contributed at various stages of the project to ensure that we achieve this milestone.

With the installation of the borehole system, clean water is now accessible right within the school premises, ensuring students can maintain proper hygiene and spend more time focusing on their education. This vital resource not only improves health standards but also enhances the overall learning environment, allowing students to thrive.

This project stands as a testament to what can be achieved when we unite with a common purpose—investing in our children’s future and fostering a healthier school community.

As we move forward, we remain dedicated to continuing initiatives that bridge gaps to ensure that we have a better society where everyone has access to portable water.

Let us all take a moment to celebrate this achievement and look forward to a brighter future for Zumuratul Islamiyyah School 2!
