Wilo showcased its AI-powered water solutions for sustainable infrastructure at the 29th Arab-German Business Forum.

The 29th Arab-German Business Forum brought together more than 450 participants and 80 speakers under the theme "Beyond Transformation: Intelligence, Innovation & Impact." The event served as a platform for high-level dialogue between government leaders and industry representatives on the future of economic cooperation, sustainability, energy, and innovation between Germany and the Arab world.

The forum featured keynote contributions from distinguished leaders, including H.E. Katherina Reiche, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany; H.E. Dr. Ahmad Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs of Qatar; and H.E. Zohour Alaoui, Ambassador of Morocco to Germany and Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps. The event also brought together numerous ambassadors and senior representatives from across the Arab world. Throughout the forum, speakers emphasized that innovation, trusted partnerships, and long-term collaboration remain essential to strengthening Arab-German economic relations and advancing sustainable development.

Representing Wilo, Yasser Nagi, Managing Director, Wilo Middle East & Africa, participated in the panel discussion "The Energy-Water Nexus: Eco-Blueprints for a Sustainable and Secure Future."

During the discussion, Yasser highlighted how WATER AI is redefining the relationship between water and energy by combining intelligent water technologies, artificial intelligence, automation, and data analytics to create smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable water infrastructure.

The discussion also showcased how Wilo is supporting climate resilience and water security across the Middle East and Africa through landmark projects. Examples included the Sebou–Bouregreg Water Transfer Project in Morocco, which helps secure water supplies for around 12 million people, and Egypt's Toshka Project, where more than 400 Wilo pumps contribute to agricultural expansion and food security.

Another key topic was the increasing demand for sustainable infrastructure driven by artificial intelligence and digitalization. The discussion highlighted how intelligent pumping and cooling solutions support next-generation data centres by improving energy efficiency and optimizing water use. Projects such as the Stargate Data Centre in the UAE and Ooredoo Data Centres in Qatar demonstrated Wilo's capabilities in this rapidly growing sector.

The panel also highlighted how Wilo's Creating, Caring, Connecting strategy places sustainability at the heart of its business while fostering collaboration with governments, utilities, academia, and industry. Through initiatives such as the Wilo Global WATER AI Academy, Wilo continues to support knowledge transfer and develop the next generation of water professionals.

Wilo's participation reinforced its commitment to driving innovation at the intersection of water, energy, and artificial intelligence while contributing to the global dialogue on sustainable infrastructure and the future of water management.
