Operating Principle

• CPA-HS (analogue sensor control): A 4-20 mA level transmitter in the sump sends a continuous signal to the panel PLC. Each pump has its own user-defined start level; the PLC stages pumps in or out to keep the liquid at the programmed minimum level.

• CPA-FS (float switch control): The system operates with a minimum-level float, a maximum-level float, and one auxiliary float per pump. Pumps start and stop sequentially as each float is reached.

• Two selectable modes via the touch-screen HMI

– Mode 0 – Emergency: All pumps start individually at their set level and stop together when the minimum level is reached.

– Mode 1 – Standard: Pumps start individually at their set levels, then stop one-by-one as the water falls; the last running pump stops at the minimum level.
