Wilo Indonesia and MRT Jakarta Strengthen Long-Term Partnership Through Hands-On Training

MRT Jakarta, or Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta, is a rapid urban rail transportation system serving the city of Jakarta. As an important part of the city’s public transportation infrastructure, the reliability and continuous operation of its facilities are essential to supporting safe and efficient passenger services.

The two-day program was designed to strengthen the technical knowledge and practical capabilities of the MRT Jakarta maintenance team in managing pump systems. The sessions covered key topics including pump operation, optimization, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and best practices for maintaining reliable system performance.

Through hands-on activities with Wilo equipment, participants gained practical insights into pump operation and maintenance while exchanging experiences and discussing challenges encountered in day-to-day operations. This practical approach helps the maintenance team better understand how proper pump operation, optimization, and maintenance can contribute to system reliability, energy efficiency, and longer equipment service life.

Through this hands-on training, Wilo Indonesia continues to translate the “Pioneering WATER AI for You” approach into practical value for customers — combining technology, expertise, and close collaboration to help improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainable system performance.

MRT Jakarta has been a long-term partner of Wilo since 2022, with more than 200 sets of Wilo pumps installed across 8 stations in Jakarta. Through continued technical engagement, knowledge sharing, and customer support, Wilo is proud to contribute to the reliable and efficient infrastructure supporting Jakarta’s public transportation network.
