Wilo Shares Best Practices in Pump Lifecycle Management and Troubleshooting in Bali

The event brought together stakeholders from regional water utilities (PDAMs), government water authorities, consultants, and construction companies across Bali to exchange knowledge and discuss practical approaches to improving water management system reliability and efficiency.

The seminar was officially opened by Ida Bagus Komang Suastika, Director of PT Wesabara, who welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical competency development in supporting sustainable and reliable water infrastructure.

The seminar provided practical insights into pump lifecycle management—from selection and operation to maintenance and troubleshooting—to help improve system reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance.

The technical sessions were delivered by Wilo Indonesia team, beginning with Mohamad Gigih Gulanang, Head of Sales Water Management Segment, who introduced participants to Wilo's global expertise, current pumping technologies, and the importance of adopting a pump lifecycle approach to maximize performance and long-term reliability. Building upon this foundation, Muhammad Suryo Utomo, Sales Representative Area of East Indonesia, shared best practices for achieving longer pump service life, emphasizing the importance of proper pump selection based on application requirements and operating conditions. Completing the lifecycle perspective, Wahyu Setyawan, Aftersales Service & Production Manager, presented practical maintenance strategies and troubleshooting approaches based on real field experiences and case studies, demonstrating how preventive maintenance and timely corrective actions can improve equipment reliability while minimizing downtime.

As a result, the discussions throughout the seminar were highly relevant and practical, connecting technical concepts with real-world applications. By aligning the content with participants' operational concerns, the seminar delivered a more engaging and solution-oriented learning experience.

Through initiatives such as this seminar, Wilo and PT Wesabara continue to support industry stakeholders through technical expertise, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, contributing to more sustainable and reliable water management solutions across Indonesia. Together, we continue to pioneer sustainable and intelligent premium water solutions for global challenges—creating impact for everyone.
