Separate and transport solid substances. Clean, safe, and reliable
LATAM. The increasing urbanisation and thus included challenges, such as increasing solids content in wastewater, require innovative ways to continuously improve processes and aggregate products. The solids content in wastewater e.g., from public restrooms such as hospitals, shopping malls etc., often contain items that can pose serious problems for pumps and may even cause failure in the systems as well as increased service costs. The compact solids separation system Wilo-EMUport CORE offers maximum operational reliability during sewage collection and transport.
Reliable and efficient clog-free transport
Compared to traditional pump systems, the Wilo-EMUport CORE separates wastewater into solids and pre-cleaned wastewater. The result is maximum reliability, as large solids do not have to pass through the pump, ensuring clog-free transport. While the coarser particles are collected in the solid separation tanks, the pre-cleaned wastewater flows back through the pump into a collection tank. When this tank is full, one of the two pumps is activated depending on the liquid level and pumps the pre-cleaned wastewater from the collection tank into the solid separation tank. The Wilo-EMUport solid separation systems always use two pumps that operate alternately. This measure ensures that the wastewater supply via the second pump continues in parallel with the discharge of the dewatering pump sequence, thus guaranteeing a continuous wastewater supply.
Tailored exactly to your requirements
Wilo-EMUport CORE provides easy maintenance thanks to its hygienic dry well installation and easy access from outside without labor-intensive and time-consuming disassembly of the pumps. With flexible installation in buildings or in chambers from 1,500 mm diameter and the built in Plug&Pump System, it is easy to integrate and ready for connection. At the same time, the Wilo-EMUport creates economic efficiency by saving energy, thanks to efficient submersible sewage pumps optionally equipped with IE3 motors, and thanks to a retrofit system, the renovation of old pump stations, is made very simple.
When selecting the materials, Wilo opted for polyethylene and polyurethane: Unlike stainless steel, which can corrode quickly after welding if poorly passivated, these materials are corrosion-free. In addition, polyethylene is characterized by an extremely long service life and is very light compared to other materials, which greatly simplifies the installation of the system on site. The intake box is made of polyurethane, which is also corrosion-free and extremely impact-resistant, so larger solid objects such as stones or pieces of wood cannot damage the intake box. To minimize the amount of water remaining in the collection tank, the tank geometry was tailored to the requirements.
The complete system including a corrosion-free pump chamber and switching systems is also available for larger Wilo units. Tailored precisely to your requirements.
