The largest international water, sewage and waste trade fair arrives in São Paulo in April, boosting the region's environmental industry.
São Paulo, Brazil. IFAT Brasil 2024, the first International Exhibition for Water, Sewage, Drainage and Waste Recovery Solutions, will take place in São Paulo from April 24 to 26, 2024, in conjunction with the consolidated M&T Expo, Latin America's leading trade fair for construction and mining machinery. This unprecedented initiative aims to catalyze the emerging market for environmental technologies in Brazil and beyond.
From its origins in Munich, Germany, in 1966, IFAT has evolved to be the global leader in environmental technologies, with more than 8 global events, representing 155 countries and 59 exhibiting nationalities. In 2024, IFAT expands its presence in Latin America with the launch of IFAT Brazil.
IFAT Brazil 2024, centered on the rapid growth of the Brazilian wastewater sector, is positioned as the central platform for connecting market players. This initiative will be crucial to achieving the Brazilian government's targets for drainage, waste management, water management and wastewater by 2033.
