DOITC Project
Department of Information Technology & Communication (DOITC)
Integrated IT Infrastructure – Jaipur, Rajasthan
The Department of Information Technology & Communication (DOITC), Government of Rajasthan, is a key driver of the state’s digital transformation and e-governance initiatives. Jaipur, as the administrative and technology hub of Rajasthan, plays a central role in implementing digital governance platforms, IT-enabled public services, and smart infrastructure aligned with the national “Digital India” mission. DOITC facilities house critical IT infrastructure, data centers, administrative offices, and operational units that require uninterrupted environmental control and robust life-safety systems.
To support continuous operations, safeguard digital assets, and ensure occupant safety, DOITC’s infrastructure in Jaipur is equipped with dedicated fire protection and HVAC pumping systems. These systems are engineered to deliver high reliability, regulatory compliance, and energy-efficient performance under 24×7 operating conditions typical of government IT facilities.
Application & Pumps Used
Jaipur – Fire Fighting Systems (DOITC Facility)
For life-safety and asset protection, DOITC’s Jaipur facility is equipped with a fully compliant fire-fighting pump system designed to ensure immediate response and reliable water delivery during emergency conditions. The system supports fire hydrants, sprinklers, and critical safety zones across the building.
Split case fire pumps are widely used in institutional and government buildings due to their high flow capability, stable hydraulic performance, and ease of maintenance. The inclusion of an engine-driven fire pump ensures uninterrupted operation during power failures, while the jockey pump maintains system pressure under normal conditions, reducing unnecessary main pump operation. This configuration enhances emergency readiness, system reliability, and compliance with national and international fire safety standards.
Jaipur – HVAC Systems (DOITC Facility)
To maintain controlled indoor environments for IT infrastructure, offices, and operational areas, the DOITC Jaipur facility is supported by a centralized HVAC pumping system designed for continuous cooling and energy-efficient operation.
Jaipur- Plumbing System
End suction centrifugal pumps are ideally suited for HVAC applications in large institutional buildings due to their compact design, high efficiency, and reliable performance. In DOITC facilities, these pumps ensure uninterrupted chilled water circulation across air handling units and distribution networks serving temperature-sensitive IT and administrative spaces. The integration of a variable speed control panel enables demand-based operation, reducing energy consumption during partial load conditions while maintaining consistent cooling performance.
