Flagship Facility at Kesurdi – A Green Leap Toward Sustainability
A flagship greenfield facility was inaugurated in 2023 at Kesurdi near Pune, located on a sprawling 93,732 sq. meter site, with a built-up area of 29,164 sq. meters. This LEED v4 Gold-certified facility represents Wilo India's strong commitment to sustainability and climate neutrality. It is designed to minimize environmental impact and employ energy-efficient manufacturing processes, aligning with Wilo Group’s global sustainability vision.

Wilo India also operates facilities in Kolhapur and Pune, continually modernizing its operations. A significant upgrade took place in 2020 with the modernization of the KW Foundry, ensuring that Wilo India remains at the forefront of technological innovation in the pump manufacturing industry.

Mather and Platt has a rich history that dates back to 1913, when it began its
operations in Kolkata, focusing on providing water supply solutions for building
services, water management, and the industrial segments. In 1959, Mather and Platt
expanded its manufacturing capabilities by establishing a facility in Chinchwad,
Pune, Maharashtra.
A key milestone came in 2005 when Mather and Platt became part of WILO SE,
Germany, ushering in a new era of global integration and technological
advancement. In 2009, the company established a state-of-the-art manufacturing
facility across Pune and Kolhapur, spanning approximately 6,000 sq. meters. These
plants are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certified, showcasing the
company’s unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and environmental
responsibility. Additionally, all Wilo India products are CE certified, ensuring
compliance with global standards.
