Dharma LNG Terminal

Dharma LNG Terminal

CINDA is associated with the Dhamra LNG Terminal, operated by Dhamra LNG Terminal Private Limited (DLTPL), a strategically important energy infrastructure project located within Dhamra Port, Bhadrak District, Odisha. With a peak regasification capacity of 6.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), the terminal plays a vital role in strengthening India’s natural gas supply chain, particularly for the eastern and northern regions.

The LNG terminal is designed to cater to the growing energy demands of states such as Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Assam, supporting cleaner fuel adoption and energy transition initiatives. The facility handles imported LNG and converts it into gaseous natural gas through advanced regasification processes involving heat exchangers and submerged vaporizer technologies (STVs).

Application & Pumps Used

Fire Fighting Systems – LNG Terminal

Segment: Oil & Gas
Application:
Fire Fighting

Pump Solutions Supplied: Split Case Fire Pumps

Number of Pumps: 6 Nos

Split case fire pumps are widely preferred in LNG and oil & gas installations due to their ability to deliver high flow rates at stable pressure levels, making them ideal for large-area fire protection networks. At the Dhamra LNG Terminal, these pumps form the backbone of the fire-water system, supplying hydrants, monitors, and fixed firefighting systems across the terminal.

By deploying split case fire pumps, the fire protection system at the Dhamra LNG Terminal ensures operational safety, asset protection, and compliance with stringent oil & gas fire safety requirements, supporting uninterrupted terminal operations and long-term infrastructure resilience.
