Pressure boosting system to be connected indirectly and fully automatic double pump compact unit as homogeneous redundant version of a single-pump system for fire extinguishing applications.
Two non-self-priming, multi-stage high-pressure multi-stage centrifugal pumps in vertical design. Impellers and stage housing are made of stainless steel.
IE2 standard motors, 3-phase, 2-pole.
Diaphragm pressure vessel (capacity 8 l), joint tubing on suction and pressure side
per pump: with non-return valve, shut-off valve on suction and pressure side (sealed in opened state), manometer, pressure switch for automatic system control.
Comes as standard with pump protection by means of minimum volume acceptance via bypass without auxiliary energy.
FLA switchgear for fire extinguishing systems in accordance with DIN 14462. Integrated in a steel sheeting housing.
Homogeneously redundant switchgear version without mutual lock, i.e. two complete autonomous working controls with one power supply each for operation of one pump each. Scope of functions and suitability in accordance with DIN 14462 have been proven by TÜV test report.
Per pump with one control consisting of:
Built-in motor protection only for signalling of faults. The motor protection is activated in test run.
Switch for Manual-Automatic mode Control of the pump by pressure switch in automatic mode; expandable to up to eight sensors (in series connection), for example external on/off limit switch etc. (more than eight sensors on request). All sensor signals which could lead to the pump being started are monitored for wire breakage and short circuits.
System with programmable time switch for regular test run.
Dry-running protection relay, for example, for connection of low water float switch from the WILO FLA break tanks, electrodes, pressure switches etc.; low water status only for signalling of faults. The low water is activated in test run.
With signal lamps for operational readiness (green), pump ON (green), fault (red), pump request (white) as well as potential-free contacts for operational readiness and collective fault (possible as common signal) and pump ON.
Suitable for use in industrial and residential areas in accordance with the basic requirements of guideline 2004/108/EC (EMC guideline).
The system has been mounted on the base frame with wires and pipes are ready for connection.
The customer must take suitable measures to ensure that the flow pressure of 8 bar and the resting pressure of 12 bar are not exceeded at any fire hose reel.
