This year’s event brought together industry leaders, engineers, policymakers, researchers, and innovators from across the continent, united by a shared mission: to secure sustainable water for all. The exhibition halls buzzed with energy — a dynamic mix of technical presentations, product showcases, and strategic dialogues that reflected the urgency and complexity of water management in Africa.

For Wilo, it was an opportunity to do what we do best — connect, collaborate, and contribute. Over the course of the event, we met with long-standing customers, potential clients, and strategic partners, engaging in influential discussions that went beyond products and services. We explored how our technologies could be applied to real-world challenges — from municipal water supply and wastewater treatment to industrial process water and rural community access. These conversations were not just about selling solutions; they were about co-creating pathways to a more sustainable and resilient water future.

A highlight of the event came on Day 3, when we had the honour of meeting with Minister of Water and Sanitation, Hon. Pemmy Majodina, to discuss the role of innovation in achieving South Africa’s water security goals. The day was further distinguished by the presence of Deputy Minister David Mahlobo, whose attendance underscored the high-level government engagement and the importance of the conversations taking place at WISA 2026.
