ISH 2021: Industry Pioneer Wilo with Digital System Solutions at the World’s Leading Trade Fair, Which Took Place Virtually

Back to overview

29.03.2021

The technology specialist focusing on cold water and heating applications

Dortmund/Frankfurt. Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures: The ISH 2021 is bringing the HVAC sector together with the motto “moving forw@rd”, although this year it will be a virtual trade fair instead of at its usual location in the Frankfurt exhibition centre. The aim is for exhibitors, visitors, experts and journalists to rub shoulders for five days, and to encourage the sharing of information, offer informative content and present new solutions and innovations. Wilo, digital pioneer of the pump industry, is also taking part in the virtual ISH and will be welcoming its visitors this year in a one-off virtual setting as opposed to Hall 9 at the Frankfurt exhibition centre as usual.

As part of its presence at the world’s leading trade fair for HVAC and water, Wilo is choosing a holistic solutions approach, from the product level (with a largely digital approach across the entire product and system range of building services) to digital services. This year at the virtual ISH, Wilo is also focusing on cold water applications which are becoming ever more important, not least as a result of advancing urbanisation worldwide and the global water shortage. As a technology specialist whose core expertise is moving water, Wilo seeks to present itself as a leader of innovation and industry pioneer in this sector too.

Apart from presenting products and innovations, Wilo is offering a total of four virtual events as part of the ISH 2021: the traditional ISH press conference will start on the Friday before the trade fair. Straight after the start of the trade fair on Monday, Dr Jörg Praczyk, Senior Vice President of Group Research and Development at Wilo, will speak in a panel discussion on the topic of “Green tech – Innovations in our Industry for Sustainable Development” at 11.30 am. In the afternoon, Eva Kerstholt, Group Director of Product Information Management & Digital Solutions, will speak at the BTGA “Building Forum” on the topic of “Challenges and Requirements for Modern Planning with BIM” at 4 pm. Finally, on Tuesday at 5.30 pm, Wilo’s very own web session “Solutions for a Sustainable Future” will take place with numerous product innovations and system solutions.
