The Modbus RTU communications module represents an extension to the integration of a CC/CCe system as Modbus Slave in an already existing bus system of the building management system. The connection is made via an RS485 interface. The settings with respect to the interface configuration can be made on the display of the CC/CCe system. For connecting Wilo-Smart-SC/SCe-HVAC systems, Wilo-Smart-SC/SCe booster with BACnet IP networks. The communication module SC-OPTION BACnet IP is a hardware extension and optionally a software extension to connect an SC/SCe system as a participant in an existing BACnet IP building automation. The connection of the BACnet IP module to the RS485 bus takes place via twisted-pair cabling. BACnet (Building Automation and Control Networks) IP ensures interoperability between devices from different manufacturers. With BACnet IP, different parameters can be read and written, e.g. switchgear data, pump status and modes, actual values, setpoints, the current speed of the pump, measured temperatures, operating hours, switching cycles, etc. The module is installed in the switchgear by the manufacturer when the order for the system is received.
