Partnering for the Lebanese Technicians of the Future.

To work on a sustainable long-term social impact and lift tomorrow’s skills, Wilo Levant Platform signed a partnership agreement with the “Institut Europeen de Cooperation et de Developpement” (IECD), a French not-for-profit association whose mission is recognized as being in the public interest, implementing vocational training programs, among other types of projects, to promote the sustainable integration of the youth in the labor market.

IECD Vocational Training Program

One of the aspects of IECD Vocational Training Program focuses on building and enhancing the vocational profile of the Lebanese technical baccalaureate « Métiers de la maintenance » students and graduates through training and support to enter the labor market with interesting job opportunities.

Wilo Levant Platform’s Collaboration

Contributing to the training of the generation of future Lebanese technicians, Wilo Levant Platform’s partnership with IECD comes as a support to the latter organization’s program goals which include:

• Upgrading the technical students, graduates, and technical schools’ teachers on pumping knowledge and maintenance procedures to meet the labor market needs
• Increasing the technical graduates’ employability rate and chances for a quality future
• Enhancing the collaboration between the private sector and the technical and vocational education

Commenting on the MOU agreement, Ayman Nassar, Managing Director of Wilo Levant Platform:

For the successful functioning of IECD program and the realization of the partnership’s goals, Wilo Levant Platform commits to develop and deliver in-house and on-site practical training for students, graduates, and teachers of the BT « Métiers de la maintenance » related to Wilo Lebanon Sarl expertise and to consider graduated beneficiaries of their training for potential internships recruitment.
