Wilo Showcases Sustainable Water Solutions at the 7th Arab Water Week in Jordan

Wilo proudly took part in the 7th Arab Water Week, held from 4 to 6 May 2025 at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre by the Dead Sea, Jordan. Organized by the Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA), under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, and in collaboration with Jordan’s Ministry of Water and Irrigation, the event convened more than 500 participants from across 35 countries, including high-level government representatives, key stakeholders, and industry experts.

Under the theme “Towards Efficiency and Sustainability in Utilities through the WEEF Nexus,” the conference offered a comprehensive platform to exchange knowledge on water, energy, and environmental sustainability.

As an exhibitor, Wilo Levant introduced visitors to the immersive “Wilo-World” experience—an interactive showcase of advanced pump technologies and integrated solutions spanning the entire water cycle, in application.

The Wilo Team was honored to welcome distinguished guests to the booth, including H.E. Raed Abu Saud, Jordan’s Minister of Water and Irrigation, and H.E. Bertram von Moltke, German Ambassador to Jordan, whom visit underscored the shared commitment to advancing sustainable water solutions through international cooperation.

Beyond the exhibition floor, Mohammad Abushanab, Wilo’s Country Manager for Jordan and Palestine, joined a panel discussion on “Effective WEFE Nexus Governance for Improved Water Management”, where he presented Wilo’s approach to addressing the water-energy nexus through smart and energy-efficient technologies. Additionally, he led a dedicated session on Wilo’s Emu-Port solid separation system, designed for advanced wastewater collection and transport.

Wilo’s participation also facilitated valuable engagement with sector professionals, fostering meaningful discussions and knowledge exchange. The event served as a platform to strengthen regional collaborations and explore tailored solutions to pressing water challenges.
