Wilo takes part in the “Energy Efficient Water Management” training program, organized by Engicon Group
Wilo x Engicon: Contributing to Energy-Efficient Water Management in Jordan
Wilo was proud to support the “Energy Efficient Water Management” training program, organized by Engicon Group, by hosting a dedicated two-part session featuring a full theoretical day at our office in Amman, Jordan followed by a technical site visit day.
Day 01 - Wilo Office - Amman, Jordan
Led by Mohammad Abushanab, Wilo Country Manager for Jordan and Palestine, the training welcomed 11 engineers from the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) and Miyahuna Balqa. The session focused on the role of intelligent pump design and selection in reducing energy consumption and enhancing operational performance in water supply systems.
Day Two – Field Application
On the day, participants visited key water installations in Al-Salt Governorate to observe system diagnostics and pumps operation in practice. The field session provided exposure to:
- Practical Training with Hands-On Experience
- Evaluation of Pumps and Systems Efficiency
- Temperature Measurements on Windings and Bearings
- Vibration Analysis
- Pump Alignment
- Operational Speed Measurement
Delivering Tangible Results
As part of the awarded project “Improvement of Energy Efficiency in the Water Sector – Rehabilitation of Existing Pump Stations and Reconstruction of the Primary and Secondary Water System in As-Salt, Jordan,” Wilo has supplied 26 high-efficiency pumps to 12 pump stations in the Balqa Governorate, supporting long-term energy savings and optimized operational reliability.
