Stainless Steel pumps are available in vertical and submersible floor mount models. All pump components are cast, not welded, 316 stainless steel.
Submersible Features
Case
Heavy duty, close grain, high density 316 stainless steel with tripod support legs.
Impeller
Statically and dynamically balanced 316 stainless steel.
Motor
NEMA-6, submersible, air filled, hermetically sealed, Class F insulation. Single-phase voltages are 115 or 208-230 with built-in auto reset thermal protection. Single-phase models include capacitors and relays mounted in a separate Type 4X FRP enclosure and are available up to 2 HP. Three-phase voltages are 208-230 or 460 and are available from 1/2 to 5 HP.
Shaft
316 stainless steel.
Motor Shell
316 stainless steel with special integral cooling fins.
Seal Chamber
316 stainless steel construction and filled with clean biodegradable oil for continuous mechanical seal lubrication.
End Bell
316 stainless steel, hermetically sealed.
Elastomers
Viton (fluorelastomer) rings for positive sealing are standard.
Power and Sensor Cable
All models have 25 feet of neoprene jacketed cable as standard.
Bearings
Permanently lubricated single row, double sealed. Oversized to handle radial and axial loads.
Seal – Tandem
Two seals. The upper seal operates inside the seal chamber. The upper seal face is carbon against ceramic. The lower seal faces are silicon carbide against silicon carbide.
Moisture Sensor
Designed to detect water in the seal chamber.
Temperature Limiter
Located in stator windings to stop motor when internal temperature exceed insulation rating. Automatic reset when motor cools.

Vertical, solid shaft with NEMA-C mounting flange. Totally enclosed motors are standard on all models. The motor is connected to the pump with a flexible coupling.

1750 RPM – 1/2 HP through 5 HP.
3450 RPM – 1-1/2 HP through 5 HP.
Shaft
316 stainless steel, polished and ground.
Thrust Bearing
Grease lubricated, ball type, over-sized for increased life and capacity. Sealed to protect from dirt and moisture.
Lower Bearing Housing
316 stainless steel with graphite sleeve bearing.
Intermediate Bearing Housing
316 stainless steel with graphite sleeve bearing.
