Control EC-WP-1x12A-MT34-DOL-WM

Microcontroller-controlled switchgear for level- or pressure-dependent control of a submersible pump with analogue or digital signal transmitters. Individual parameters are entered via symbol-based menu navigation and an operating knob.

Functions

• Three different operating modes for a broad field of application:
  • “Drain” control mode: For draining wells
  • “Filling” control mode: For filling tanks
  • “Pressure control” control mode
• Configurable overload protection
• Thermal motor monitoring
• Pump kick function
• Adjustable follow-up time
• Direction of rotation monitoring
• High water alarm in the “Filling” control mode with forced shutdown of the connected pump
• Pump dry-running protection
• Fault memory for 10 error messages including the type of fault

Equipment

• Display of the current operating status and data as well as faults, using the LCD display and LEDs
• Symbol-based menu navigation
• Configuration of operating parameters and operation via operating knob
• Main switch
• Remote access via ModBus
• Integrated alarm buzzer

Inputs

• 1x analogue precision input 4 – 20 mA for a passive pressure sensor
• 1x digital input for pressure control with a pressure switch
• 2x digital inputs for level control with float switches or electrodes
• 1x digital input for monitoring the pump’s dry run level with float switch or electrode
• 1x digital input for high water level monitoring with float switch or electrode
• 1x input for thermal winding monitor with bimetallic temperature sensor – connection of PTC or Pt100 sensors is not possible!
• 1x digital input for external on/off for remote control of the system

Outputs

• 1x potential-free changeover contact* for the collective run signal (SBM)
• 1x potential-free changeover contact* for the collective fault signal (SSM)
• 1x potential-free normally open contact* (NO) for individual run signal (EBM)
• 1x potential-free normally closed contact* (NC) for the individual fault signal (ESM) per pump
• 1x 24 VDC output for connecting an external alarm signal
• 1x analogue output 0 – 10 V to read out the actual pressure value

*Note: Power supply must be provided by the customer!

Configuration

• Signal transmitter to be provided on-site.
• Switchgears are not protected against explosions and may be used only outside hazardous areas.
