Reverse osmosis is a widely used technology for reducing a range of impurities in water.
It is a water filtration technique that uses a thin, semi-permeable membrane with very small pores. This membrane allows water to pass through while retaining many dissolved salts, larger molecules, and other impurities.
Reverse osmosis can produce water with a high degree of purification and is used in applications such as industrial boilers, drinking water systems, seawater desalination, pharmaceutical production, cosmetics production, and food and beverage processing.
