Empowering young people
The Wilo-Foundation supports young people through initiatives focused on education and development. Its activities address topics such as the environment, water resources, technology, and digitalisation.
In education, the foundation focuses in particular on entrepreneurship and STEM subjects.
Since 2019, Oliver Hermes, President and CEO of the Wilo Group, has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Wilo-Foundation.
In 2020, the Wilo-Foundation joined the Covid-19 donation initiative and donated €30,000 for research to the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Essen.
