At Wilo Intec, reducing our environmental impact is at the heart of our strategy. Through concrete initiatives and recognized certifications, we are committed to an ambitious sustainable development approach.

A Key Environmental Certification: ISO 14001

For many years, we have embraced responsible management of our activities, earning ISO 14001 certification.

This international standard ensures the implementation of a rigorous environmental management system designed to identify, control, and reduce our impact while complying with legal requirements.

It reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and sustainable practices.

Reducing CO₂ Emissions: Concrete Actions

Energy efficiency is one of our top priorities, and we have launched innovative projects to achieve it:

• Green Electricity: We partner with Engie to use 100% renewable energy sourced from Rhône River hydropower plants.
• Heat Recovery: This initiative helps capture lost energy and optimize our consumption.
• Building Management System (BMS): Implemented in November 2024, this smart solution controls heating and air conditioning in real time while detecting anomalies. It also includes replacing compressors for improved energy efficiency.

A Rigorous Monitoring of Our Carbon Footprint

We regularly conduct our Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) assessment to measure the impact of our actions and identify new areas for improvement.

Thanks to these efforts, Wilo Intec has obtained TÜV Carbon Neutrality certification, confirming our commitment as a responsible industrial player.

Currently, we are carbon neutral for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.

This means that we have offset or eliminated all direct emissions from our own operations (Scope 1) and indirect emissions from purchased energy (Scope 2).

Scope 3 emissions, which include our entire value chain such as suppliers and product use, are not yet covered but remain a key focus for future improvement.
