Aubigny-sur-Nère – On the occasion of the Franco-German Day, Wilo Intec welcomed 28 Germanist students from the 3rd grade of the Aubigny secondary school on Friday 6 February 2026 for a morning of discovery of Wilo and the professions in industry.
This initiative is part of a long-standing partnership between Wilo Intec and the Aubigny secondary school Gerard Philippe, which is held every year on the occasion of the celebration of the Élysée Treaty – signed on 22 January 1963 – which symbolises the friendship between France and Germany.
Immersion in the heart of the company
The students were welcomed at 8:45 a.m. with a German breakfast, before attending several presentations to understand:
· The identity of the Wilo group and its Aubigny site,
· Corporate culture and the pillars of sustainable development
· The human resources profession
· That of the HSEE department, with in particular activities related to safety in industrial companies, the environment and energy management.
A guided tour of the workshop then allowed them to visualize and discover more concretely the professions of:
· Digitalization
· Metrology
· Logistics
· The assembly
· As well as the continuous improvement approach, a process that is rooted in the operation of Wilo Intec
These privileged meetings highlight the diversity of industrial professions to the younger generation, promote the learning and mastery of foreign languages, essential in an international group and can even awaken vocations.
