Awards and Achievements
The success of our daily work is not only reflected in reliable partnerships and excellent customer relations. In the past few years, we have received numerous awards from independent bodies, confirming the path we have taken. For example, we won the German Brand Award in 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 and were awarded the German Sustainability Award (DNP) in 2021. Sustainability
Climate protection defines our company. It is part of our business model. Our work with the precious resources of water and energy, as well as our approach to protect the environment, requires a sustainable mindset and actions. These are firmly established in Wilo’s corporate culture.
Ecovadis Platinum Rating 2022
For the third time in a row, the independent rating agency EcoVadis has certified Wilo's sustainability management. After silver in 2019 and 2020, Wilo received the gold rating in 2021. Receiving the platinum rating in 2022 underscores our commitment in the field sustainability. The rating agency gave a particularly positive assessment to Wilo's sustainability strategy as well as its commitment in the areas of energy efficiency and social responsibility.
German Brand Award
The German Brand Award has been awarded by the “Rat für Design” since 2016 and is one of the most prestigious awards for brand communication in Germany.
Wilo has already been included in the list of award winners several times with various projects and campaigns, most recently in June 2024 with the annual and sustainability report and with the sponsorship campaign “Scoring for Sustainability” with Borussia Dortmund.

Based on the Top Employers Institute's research, this award is given only to the best employers worldwide. As a "Top Employer 2024", Wilo's HR areas were audited through the Institute's multi-stage certification process. This audit covers the areas of work environment, employer branding, performance, learning, values, sustainability and much more. Honoured as a "Top Employer" since 2008, Wilo helps to realise employee careers through optimal working conditions in many respects.
Elite-sports-friendly Company 2023
With the award "Elite-sports-friendly Company 2023", the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) recognises Wilo's long-term commitment to the professional development of top athletes. For many years, Wilo has been the main sponsor of Team Deutschland-Achter and also supports the promotion of young talent in rowing.
