Oliver Hermes is the new Chairman of NUMOV
At the annual general meeting of the German Near and Middle East Association in Berlin on 6 June 2018, Oliver Hermes, CEO of the Wilo Group, was elected as its new Chairman.
The Wilo CEO will steer the German Near and Middle East Association (NUMOV) together with Helene Rang.
NUMOV is Germany’s longest standing and largest organisation for economic development between Germany and the countries in the Middle East. The Wilo Group is a long-standing member of NUMOV and is intensively represented in the Middle East through its production sites and subsidiaries. Prior to his election, Oliver Hermes was a member of the NUMOV Executive Board and its Deputy Chairman for four years. “I am delighted and honoured to be named Chairman as it is a vote of confidence in me”, said Oliver Hermes upon his appointment.
“We will continue NUMOV’s highly-successful work and continue to strengthen and increase the bilateral co-operation between Germany and the Middle East.” Besides the chairmanship of NUMOV, Oliver Hermes is also a board member of the Federation of German Heating Industry (BDH), Ruhr Initiative Group advisory board member, German Asia-Pacific Business Association (OAV) board member and, in addition, advisory board member of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group as well as of the Wickeder Group.
