Roundtable with Uzbek Ambassador

Event at Wilopark with a special focus on industry and agriculture

On this Wednesday (August 18th), the Eastern Committee of German Business and the Wilo Group had the privilege of co-hosting an event at the newly established Wilopark. In a small gathering, representatives from various industries had the opportunity to exchange ideas with the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Nabijon Kasimov, and explore German-Uzbek cooperation potentials.

After the official welcome by Oliver Hermes, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of the Wilo Group, particular attention was given to the topics of industry and agriculture.

Wilo has been present in Uzbekistan since 2001 and employs around 50 men and women throughout Central Asia. With the opening of its subsidiary in Tashkent in 2019, the Wilo Group has further strengthened its commitment on-site and aims to advance projects in water management and industry, particularly in the future.
