Wilo once again awarded the TOTAL E-Quality seal of approval for equal opportunities in the workplace
For the second consecutive time, the Wilo Group has been recognized for its efforts and activities in the field of equal opportunities. The TOTAL E-Quality association honored the comprehensive program of the Dortmund-based technology specialist, allowing them to proudly carry the seal of approval for the next three years.
"We are extremely pleased with this award, which we also see as an incentive to continue our efforts in promoting equal opportunities at Wilo," explains Dr. Patrick Niehr, Wilo's authorized representative. The award recognizes the overall concept by which Wilo strives for gender equality in the workplace.
Career planning, part-time offerings, and training programs
"The jury particularly highlighted our individual career planning, our 86 different flexible part-time offerings, our training and awareness programs, as well as the opportunity to fill leadership positions with part-time employees," explains Ruth Pfannkuche, the responsible HR manager who accepted the award in Munich. Wilo also impressed with its film on the topic of diversity. "Gender equality plays a significant and central role for Wilo in the realm of workplace diversity," adds Pfannkuche.
Seal of approval as confirmation of years of work
For Dr. Patrick Niehr, the award is a testament to years of continuous effort: "Equal opportunities is not a trendy topic imposed upon us from outside. We are a family-owned company and have always embraced gender equality. The TOTAL E-Quality seal of approval is a confirmation of our work in this regard."
