Wilo-FireSet

For flexible design of fire-fighting systems.

Your advantages
Wilo-FireSet compliant with EN 12845 with electric motor and switchgear

For flexible design of fire-fighting systems.

The Wilo-FireSet is a configurable pressure-boosting system for integration into sprinkler systems for automatic firefighting. With its modular components, the unit enables maximum flexibility when configuring fire-fighting systems. Application-specific configuration can be performed in compliance with international and local standards and regulations (NFPA 20, UL, EN 12845, VdS, CNPP and more). The system uses reliable Wilo pumps with an axially split housing or in a “back pull-out” design.

The compact design on a universal base frame also facilitates transport and installation. In addition to the robust pumps, the switchgear and LCD display ensure a high degree of operational reliability by keeping the operational status transparent and enabling easy fault diagnosis.

Your advantages

  • Pressure-boosting system compliant with international standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 20, EN 12845), offering very flexible design options
  • UL, VdS or CNPP certification ensures high operational reliability
  • The modular design allows configurations tailored to individual requirements as well as easy maintenance
  • Robust Wilo pumps with an axially split housing or in a “back pull-out” design enable many fields of application and a long service life
  • Switchgear optionally available with LCD display and intuitive menu navigation for ease of use

Materials

For the axial split case pump:

  • Impeller made of bronze CuSn10
  • Pump housing made of cast iron GG 30
  • Shaft made of stainless steel AISI 410
  • Shaft sleve made of stainless steel AISI 410
  • Wear rings made of bronze

For the norm pump in back-pull-out design:

  • Impeller made of bronze CuSn10 or CuAl10Fe5Ni5
  • Neck ring made of stainless steel AISI316L/1.4409
  • Pump housing made of cast iron EN-GJL-250

Construction

  • Base frame: Produced from epoxy-coated or optional galvanised steel profiles with brackets for the switchgear. Slinging points (eyelets) for lifting accessories pre-assembled. Special baseplate for the pump driven by the diesel motor, designed to intake large quantities of concrete (option for NFPA20 execution only), significantly reducing vibration transfer and increasing the product’s reliability and service life.
  • Pumps: 1 pump with horizontal baseplate with an electric or diesel motor. Pump with split housing or axial discharge for easy access to the inner pump components without having to dismantle the motor or piping
  • Tank: Fuel tank made from epoxy-coated steel with a strong support structure. Fully equipped with a fuel gauge, drain plugs and air vent valves.
  • Sensors and display: The pressure sensors are located next to the switchgear or mounted on the wet column and activate the pump start via the controller. The pressure gauge on the suction and discharge side (ø 63 mm) is located on the pump’s split housing (only NFPA 20 execution).
  • Control device/controller: The pump kit is standard-equipped with a switchgear for the electric or diesel motor.
