Compliance Checker Service
Don't let non-compliant pumps put your customers at risk.
With over 100,000 heating circulation pumps entering the UK market every year, checking whether you’ve unwittingly bought or come across a non-compliant pump in an existing installation can be a minefield.
That’s why we’ve launched our Compliance Checker Service to help prevent non-compliant central heating circulating pumps making their way into homes and buildings and to support you with identifying what to look out for.
It is illegal to sell non-compliant pumps. If you are a retailer and you have any questions or concerns about your stock, please speak to the Office of Product Safety and Standards.

Our Compliance Checker Service is intended to be for general guidance only, based on the information provided to us by you. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that we offer you the correct guidance on whether your pump is compliant or non-compliant, no liability is accepted for any error or omission.
Should we conclude that a newly purchased pump is non-compliant, we advise you to return the pump to the retailer. For existing installs of non-compliant pumps, please source a suitable replacement from a reputable retailer which stocks compliant products made by pump manufacturers such as Wilo. We can advise you on pump selection.
We would always advise you to buy reputable pump brands from reputable sources to ensure each installation is reliable, energy efficient and safe.
