Gender equality

The professional equality index between women and men, provided for in the law of September 5, 2018 "for the freedom to choose one's professional future", is intended to measure the gaps in pay and situation between women and men in companies.

The professional equality index at Wilo Intec for the year 2023 is 84/100.

The components of the index are as follows:

- Pay gap: 34 / 40

- Differences in individual increases: 20 / 20

- Promotion gap: 15 / 20

- Employees receiving a raise upon return from maternity leave: 15 / 15

- Number of employees of the under-represented gender among the 10 highest earners: 0 / 10

Setting of progress targets:

  • On the pay gap indicator, the score obtained is 33/40. This indicator is based on a comparison of age groups within professional categories (workers, supervisors and managers).

Within each category, the principle of "equal pay for equal work" is respected.

Within the same age bracket, the difference is in favor of men because they are over-represented in certain skilled trades or in certain management jobs with an international dimension.

In order to increase the representation of women in these professions and thus promote a rebalancing of the disparities observed, Wilo Intec undertakes to give priority consideration to all female candidates in its recruitment processes, to encourage internal mobility and to finance certification courses for women candidates to develop in under-represented professions. These measures will be studied with the Works Council and negotiated with the trade unions as part of the negotiations on the agreement on professional equality.

  • On the last indicator, it is noted that there are no women among the 10 highest paid employees. With reference to the previous point, Wilo Intec is committed to continuing these actions in order to facilitate the access of women to the highest positions in the company.
