Job Title: National Sales Manager - OEM

Location: Home, Field Based

Report to: Managing Director UK & IE/Platform Northwest

You will be responsible for delivering the business strategy and achieving revenue targets for OEM customer sales within UK & Ireland

Role Summary:

  • Full ownership and development of Local OEM accounts (UK & Ireland)
  • Supporting activities and business development for Global Key Accounts that reside in UK & Ireland, as a part of the wider international OEM team
  • Management of existing customers
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Strategically position Wilo to extend the range of OEM activities in UK & Ireland, inline with international OEM strategy
  • Liaise and coordinate customer requirements with local UK & Ireland support teams, i.e. order management, demand planning & stock
  • Liaise and coordinate product related activities with Group OEM support team(s), i.e. product warranty, product development, phase in/out


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive customer profile: highlight strengths, weaknesses, business challenges and the structure of the organisation.
  • You will require a strong understanding of the company’s position and the specific goals for future growth
  • Create a strong sales experience by delivering a strong, long-term business relationship between Wilo and the customer.
  • Adopt strategies to protect and develop sales margin and the overall profitability of Wilo, in-line with company Pricing Corridors
  • Create counter challenges and strategies to build a forward operating sales environment
  • Identify customers key needs and build offers to fulfil strong outcomes, ultimately building a strong sales experience
  • Keep abreast of development and market changes – looking to understand competition development, market development, legislation changes and assess changes in order to adapt accordingly to set goals for successful growths
  • Understanding of OEM applications and pump systems, across multiple sectors, notably heating and cooling
  • Learn, develop and maintain a high-level of product knowledge for appropriate Wilo OEM pump products


Requirements:

  • UK & Ireland OEM market knowledge and strong business development experience
  • Basic Engineering knowledge
  • Demonstrated understanding of Margin maintenance and development
  • Considerable OEM sector knowledge
  • Strong semi-automatous working experience
  • Understanding of sales models (eg: Challenger model)
  • Appropriate product knowledge
  • OEM application knowledge
  • Have experience of successful Account Management techniques and practices
