Job Title: Service Engineer

Location: London/South (Live commutable distance to Central London)

Report to: National Service Engineering Manager

Then join our engineering team at Wilo…we are continuously on the lookout for Field Service Engineers in the London area.

Core Responsibilities:

Being directly responsible to the National Engineering Manager and working with a team of colleagues within the Service and Technical Support Department.

Ensuring the repair, service and maintenance work as per Wilo specification and as required by the customer in line with their expectations. To co-ordinate an effective service operation from a designated home base.

Building and maintaining close working relationships across all stakeholders is a fundamental aspect of this role. Equally important is delivering exceptional customer service, which is paramount to the success of the position. A strong understanding of both the UK and Group organisational structures, along with their respective cultures, is essential to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with business objectives.

  • To carry our visible and technical assessment of breakdown and work to be completed on all equipment.
  • Ensure all task-related documentation is completed upon conclusion of each service activity, including obtaining customer signatures on manned sites. Submit all completed documentation to the office daily via remote access.
  • Effective communication with our internal service department is paramount to ensure seamless coordination, timely updates.
  • To issue point of work risk assessments and method statements.
  • To carry out commissioning, maintenance, installation, and warranty work on required products
  • To adhere to all health and safety requirements of Wilo and any sites being visited.
  • To complete mandatory company health & safety training courses, where required.
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for all service tasks undertaken, ensuring they are completed to a high standard, within agreed timeframes, and in alignment with company policies and customer expectations

Do you fit our criteria…what do you need to apply?

  • Good knowledge of pump technology preferred (HVAC)
  • Experience in the industry or comparable or technical education of electrical/mechanical engineering
  • Sound understanding of Health & Safety practices
  • Experience of field and lone working
  • High customer focused mindset – ability to work across all stakeholders
  • Ability to use CRM system confidently when job reporting
