Operating modes

• PID-Control
• Constant speed (n=constant)

External control functions

• 2x analogue input 0–10 V/0–20 mA switchable, scalable and invertible 4x digital, 24 V, selectable logic H- or L-active, programmable
• 1x analogue output, 4 – 20 mA, programmable and scalable
• 2x digital terminal, 24 V, logic can be used selectively as input or output.
• 1x relay 240 V AC, both relays potential-free, programmable and/or 1x 400 V AC drop-out delayed
• Auxiliary voltage 1x 10 V DC, for setpoint potentiometer 1 kΩ and motor protection PTC thermistor 2x 24 V DC, for wiring the digital inputs and for supplying active signal transmitters for the actual value
• Communication Modbus

Data exchange

• External communication via module (optional): Profibus, DeviceNet, ProfiNet, Ethernet, Modbus

Functions:

• Full motor protection with PTC sensor evaluation
• Emergency operation with reduced speed in the event of excessive temperature, undervoltage or failure of a mains phase
• Mains phase failure monitoring
• Real time clock for time-based control
• Separate counters for variable frequency drive and motor operating hours, kWh counter, fault message memory
• Innovative function (integrated electronic operating data diary)
• Dry-running protection, protection against low or no flow rate
• Standby function
• 4 internal PID controllers

Type key

Technical data

• Permitted temperature range of the fluid: -20 °C to +140 °C
• Mechanical seal for pumping water up to Tmax = +140 °C. Up to T ≤ +40 °C, a glycol admixture of 20 % to 40 % by volume is permissible. An alternative mechanical seal must be provided for water-glycol mixtures with a glycol content of > 40% to max. 50% by volume and a fluid temperature of > +40 °C to max. +120 °C or other fluids that differ from water. When using water-glycol mixtures, the use of an S1 variant with a corresponding mechanical seal is generally recommended.
• Mains connection:
• 3~440 V ±10 %, 50/60 Hz
• 3~400 V ±10 %, 50/60 Hz
• 3~380 V -5% +10%, 50/60 Hz

Electromagnetic compatibility fulfilment for the Wilo-EFC:

• • EMC standards, interference emission EN 61800-3
  • EMC standards, interference immunity EN 61800-3

• IP55 rating
• Nominal diameter DN 100 to DN 200
• Max. operating pressure 16 bar up to +120 °C, 13 bar up to +140 °C
