In today's business world, where sustainability plays an important role, Iron Mountain and Wilo have formed a unique partnership. Together with the maintenance partner Western, new standards for green and energy-efficient data centres were set by implementing the technologically advanced Stratos GIGA-B pumps.

The pumps from the Stratos GIGA B series with energy-efficient IE5 motors according to IEC 60034-30-2 are a crucial component for the energy efficiency of the data centre in Haarlem. The use of these pumps ensures safe operation with minimal power consumption.

In addition, Wilo supported the installation, commissioning and maintenance to ensure that the system in the Iron Mountain data centre always performs optimally. The old pumps were sent to Wilo's main plant in Germany, where they are dismantled and the materials are returned to the recycling cycle.
