Example with the Wilo-Stratos MAXO:
Our Wilo-Stratos MAXO smart pump offers you analog and digital interface located directly in the terminal compartment of the pump. For connection to the building automation via a bus protocol, the retrofittable CIF module is used.
Coloured terminals for safe and easy assignment as well as clear separation of electrical and communication connections (SELV)
ANALOGUE INTERFACES
- 0 – 10 V, 2 – 10 V, 0 – 20 mA, 4 – 20 mA for the remote setpoint adjustment
- PT1000 temperature sensor for the feed and/or return temperature
DIGITAL INTERFACES
Operational information and control commands can be transmitted to the building automation system via digital interfaces. Many Wilo products have digital inputs with which control modes can be triggered and duty points can be requested:
- External OFF

- Heating/cooling switchover
POTENTIAL-FREE CONTACT FOR SSM AND SBM
Fault or run signals are transmitted via potential-free contacts such as collective fault signal (SSM) or collective run signal (SBM):
