Design a modern rainwater retention system

Rainwater retention in so-called stormwater retention tanks (rainwater overflow basins) is becoming increasingly important as flood management continues to develop. Retention tanks or temporary storage tanks are used to temporarily store large amounts of rainwater for a short period of time so that it can be discharged into the downstream receiving watercourse (drainage channel) at a slower rate or reduced rate.

In this way, you can avoid peak loads in your sewer system and therefore localised flooding. An important requirement for using your tank effectively is that the solids contained in the water do not form deposits that impair the tank’s function over time.
